Coliseum Relapse Records have signed Coliseum. The label describes the band as " a powerhouse punk/hardcore outfit formed by long-time friends in the Louisville D.I.Y. hardcore scene who share a love for early British acts such as Discharge, GBH, and Motorhead." The band has already begun writing for their Relapse debut and are scheduled to record in May with Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou. They currently have eight finished or demoed songs, mostly with death or religion as the subject matter. The band released a split with Doomriders entitled Not of This World through Level Plane in 2005 as well as a recent split 7" with Young Widows through Relapse.
