Feeling a bit lost and lonely I am looking for like-minded people on the net. I'm a straight-edge raver and I know there are others out there, but I don't really know how to find them. For me straight edge is being free of poisons and addictions. I've been abstinent for seven months from my sugar addiction. Yay! Alcohol I quit years ago and caffeine, nicotine, cocaine etc has never interested me. Although I don't see what the sex part is about. Of course sex can be used as a drug, like almost anything, but for most people it's just fun and healthy. I'm also vegan of ethical reasons, but wouldn't really connect that with my being sXe. Also I understand that straight edge comes from a specific musical context, but that shouldn't restrict the phenomenon to that specific musical scene, in my opinion. Since I'm not into hardcore at all. Well, I like hardcore in the electronic dance music kind of way, but not in the punk/rock kind of way. So, sXe ravers, are you here?
