For everyone who thought CBS couldn't have chosen a worse name for their reality-competition all-star band than Supernova, think again. The network and show producer Mark Burnett have agreed to change the name of their Tommy Lee-led headbanging outfit as part of a deal with the Southern California punk band Supernova to settle the latter's lawsuit accusing the TV contest of name-jacking. Lest anyone confuse the regional rockers with the newly formed supergroup, the deal allows the original band to keep its spaced-out moniker, while the made-for-TV band will henceforth be known as Rock Star Supernova.
