While the Scissor Sisters became mainstream gay music icons, Olympia, WA punk/pop/dance trio The Gossip quickly became the underground gay music icons. The band graced the covers of magazines like The Advocate and Out, and now they're ready to take over the world. Singer Beth Ditto explained, "Our mission is to make you dance, and if you're not gonna dance, just stay at home and listen to the oldies station."
