October 27 and 28 marks Double Door's 10th Annual Halloween Bash, featuring local bands getting into the Halloween spirit by dressing up as other bands and covering their songs. As usual, Local H will headline both evenings. As of now, their identities for each night are being kept a secret. Fortunately, other bands have revealed who they will be playing. Two bands (Bicycle Knife Fight on Friday and Colombian Local Pike on Saturday) will be the Rolling Stones. Hush Drops are taking on the daunting task of portraying the Beatles. Fig Dish will perform as the Replacements. The Midnight Shows will be the Clash. A 6-person band, May Or May Not, will try to be a duo, Daft punk. The Last Vegas will play as Skid Row. Million Yen will be the Eagles. (Expect at least a dozen people dressed as the Dude yelling, "I had a rough night and I hate the fuckin' Eagles, man.") Dogs of Ness will take on Pink Floyd. And Blackbox will pretend to be Hole. Both shows are $12 and start at 8PM. Advance tickets are available at Double Door, 1572 N. Milwaukee, or via Ticketmaster.
