Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant’s facility’s equipment 2. Provides emergency and/or unscheduled repairs to production equipment. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance of production equipment and facilities 3. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities 4. Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines 5. Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics and work orders to perform required maintenance and service 6. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments 7. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities 8. Perform a variety of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance 9. Use a variety of hand and power tools along with material handling equipment in performing duties 10. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision 11. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas 12. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed 13. Performs trouble shooting and programming of robots and PLC’s Job requirements Applicant must be able to pass drug screen and background check • Requires a high school diploma/GED and/or equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience • Minimum of 5+ years of manufacturing experience in maintenance position SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: • Possess strong mechanical and industrials skills with PLC hardware and Programming • Understanding of robotics, PLC’s and general production equipment • Must be highly motivated SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES: None PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: When in the plant, required to wear personal protective equipment consisting of: • Safety glasses • Hard Hat • Steel toed Shoes • Long Sleeve Shirt • Ear Plugs/Muffs WORKING CONDITIONS: • No adverse or hazardous conditions • Ability to stand, walk, kneel/squat and bend for 12 hour shift • Ability to lift approximately up to a maximum of 50-60 pounds • Ability to reach from 4 inches up to 6 feet • Ability to climb stairs, maneuver under belts and to use back (twisting) • Ability to push/pull upper and whole body and be in good physical condition MUST HAVE PLC experience. Day & Evening Shifts available.
