On October 7th, the Cadac Group, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner developing Organice, a SharePoint based engineering document management solution, organized the Dutch Organice User Group Conference 2008. With more than 75 companies participating, the conference was a great success.On October 7th, the Cadac Group, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner developing Organice, a SharePoint based engineering document management solution, organized the Dutch Organice User Group Conference 2008. With more than 75 companies participating, the conference was a great success.
The day started with a morning session with partners CTB ICT Bouw and Océ-Nederland, both Organice resellers in The Netherlands. This session was organized for customers from Cadac, CTB ICT Bouw and Océ that are currently considering Organice for their engineering document management needs. Organice was demonstrated to more than 30 customers and the upcoming Organice release and modules were presented to them. In addition, CTB ICT Bouw presented the integration between Organice and Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4PS Construct, the AEC-specific ERP-solution from CTB. Océ-Nederland presented Océ Matrix Logic Professional, the matrix print application for printing and distributing sets, which can be used with Organice Transmit.
In addition to the morning session, the participants were invited to lunch, where they could meet Organice users that showed up for the afternoon session. Participants were able to ask questions and share experiences.
The real User Group Conference took place during the afternoon. Over 25 users were present and were informed in detail about the upcoming Organice 2007 R4 release and new modules. There was plenty of opportunity for discussion and to ask questions, and valuable experience was shared among the users.
On October 8th an Organice information meeting was organized, where 45 participants took the opportunity to see Organice and understand how Organice can help them in managing their project documents. Organice was demonstrated and CTB ICT Bouw presented the integration between Organice and Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4PS Construct. Last but not least, it was presented how Dura Vermeer is using Organice to manage documents in their projects.
