Aceholleran: Patrick Morgan Lattin (b. 1985) is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from Bridgeport, Connecticut. Pat attended St. Ann School, Fairfield Preparatory School and Berklee College of music. He began writing songs and working on guitar technique while in high school. A stay at Berklee furthered his musical studies. Upon his return to Bridgeport, he began to jam with friends from the area. In 2008, he was approached by local drummer Timothy Ace Holleran to form a band. The resultant group began to rehearse in October of 2008, including Juan Carlos Vega on bass and Tim "T-Bone" Stone on keyboards, with Holleran as musical director. The band, now known as Pat Lattin Quartet, recorded a demo in November and December. After some hit-and-run warm-up gigs in 2009, PLQ made its professional debut at Fairfield (CT) Theatre Company in April of 2009. Producer Michael Mugrage joined the project as well. In October, 2009, Rick Petreycik wrote in the Fairfield County ''Weekly'': "(Lattin) has been captivating listeners with not only an intelligent blend of clever lyrics, guitar-driven hooks and warm, expressive vocals, but also a sense of adventure marked by shifting tempos that heighten the emotional impact of his compositions." Mugrage and PLQ began to record their first master-quality tracks in October of 2009 at Carriage House Studio in Stamford, CT. Scott Spray of the Johnny Winter Band was enlisted to play bass. Four songs were recorded (all by Lattin): "Hometown," Maniac's Almanac," "Hold True" and "Warm Glow." The band will be seeking a record company once the masters are completed.
