CREATETHE GROUP a digital commerce leader has an immediate opening for a paid QA Intern position. The position requires a commitment of 20-40 hours per week for at least three months. The ideal intern will be energetic, creative, have a positive attitude and a motivated person who can excel in a fast paced environment Responsibilities will include: • Developing and maintaining software test plan (focus is on manual testing) • Executing tests and documenting and reporting results • Tracking all defects/bugs • Providing effective communication regarding QA status and issues • Testing multiple projects (varying in scope) and applying time management strategies to ensure all QA deadlines are met Preferred Skill Set • Strong QA skills, including technical/tool skills as well as knowledge of various SDLC approaches and QA procedures/best practices • Experience in creating test cases, running manual tests, and logging defects • Experience with and/or solid understanding of PC and Macintosh operating systems, web development tools, web browsers, internet standards, web analytics, and streaming media • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Able to handle multiple projects and effectively manage shifting deadlines • Some basic familiarity with ecommerce content websites and social networking websites •Must have some understanding of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, C++, XML, .Net, etc.) and backend systems.
